Your basic over night oats all depend on your tastebuds and what appeals to you.

(I happened to find these seasonal berries that grow in our backyard during the warm summer months.) pictured above I made pb&j flavored overnight oats and I must say “It was” but that might also be because of my slight crazy Peanut butter obsession (who’s with me?)

Basic Overnight Oats


  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup water (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Optional sweetener (maple syrup, honey, molasses, stevia)
