It’s Not the 1950’s And It’s Not Mad Men’s latest set. This is in fact British Airways‘ latest lounge to open, in Aberdeen. It might not have the most footfall of all BA lounges with only a handful of flights each day on regional aircraft, but the space will be welcome to passengers. We can’t help but feel relieved there isn’t a paisley print or flocked piece of furniture in sight, bringing the carrier up to date with a contemporary finish not too dissimilar to those found in Qantas’ or Cathay Pacific’s latest airside products.
The 380sq metre new lounge, located within the recently completed extension of the airport, is the second to open under the airline’s new design concept. This follows the recent unveiling of the first in the new series of lounges at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport.
